Description
The Twiggs County Board of Commissioners is seeking sealed bids for the construction of the Sgoda Road Water System improvements, which includes the rehabilitation of a deep well water supply and the construction of a chemical feed building. The project will be divided into two divisions: Division 1 for the well rehabilitation and Division 2 for the chemical feed building. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract amount. The project must be completed by October 31, 2026, and be operational.
Key aspects of the project include:
• Rehabilitation of a 350 gpm deep well water supply or drilling of a new deep well
• Construction of a chemical feed building with chemical equipment, SCADA controls, electrical, yard piping, site work, fencing, grassing, and erosion control
• Furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the project
• Compliance with Georgia Well Drillers license and Utility Contractors license requirements
• Bid Bond in an amount not less than 10% of the amount bid
