Giddings Road Culvert Replacement

The City of Pontiac is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors to provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and related services necessary to complete the replacement of the existing culvert structure located on Giddings Road. The project consists of the removal of the existing culvert and associated infrastructure and the installation of a new precast reinforced concrete box culvert, roadway reconstruction, drainage improvements, erosion control measures, traffic control, guardrail replacement, and restoration of all disturbed areas. • The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation, traffic control, permits, testing, and incidentals necessary to complete the Giddings Road Culvert Replacement project. • The work generally consists of the removal and replacement of the existing culvert crossing on Giddings Road and associated roadway reconstruction, drainage improvements, erosion control measures, and site restoration. • The contractor's responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, mobilization and site preparation, demolition and removal, temporary water management, culvert replacement, storm sewer and drainage improvements, roadway reconstruction, erosion and sedimentation control, guardrail and safety improvements, and restoration.
