Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a sole source contract for Standard Care Services for the Leica SR GSD 3D Microscope and Leica TCS SPE Laser Scanning Confocal Microscope at the Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital. The contract will be a firm fixed price contract for a one-year base plus four one-year options. The contractor must be an authorized service vendor for the equipment.
• The contract is for sustainment of an existing service.
• The contractor must provide supporting evidence, including a letter from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), to demonstrate their ability to comply with the requirements.
• The contract will be negotiated with Leica Microsystems, Inc, as they are the only vendor authorized to complete maintenance on the machines.
