Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract to Sun Nuclear for a Sun Nuclear SunSCAN 3D System, including associated software and installation. The Sun Nuclear system is uniquely qualified due to its automated setup process, which automates the physical positioning of a 3D scanning water phantom.
• The contract will be for a Sun Nuclear SunSCAN 3D System, including associated software and installation.
• The system must have an automated setup process that can precisely position a 3D scanning water phantom.
• The contract will be awarded in accordance with the procedures of FAR Part 12.102(a).
• Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government.
