Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 10, Indianapolis VAMC, is issuing a notice of intent to sole source a contract for Cepheid reagents. The contract will be awarded to Cepheid Inc. for various reagent kits, including KIT,CDIFF/EPI,GX,IVD,10-TEST, KIT,CARBA-R,IVD,GX, and others. The reagent kits will be used with existing Cepheid GeneXpert DX instruments for diagnostic tests at the Indianapolis Pathology Lab.
* The contract is expected to be a firm fixed price contract.
* The Government believes that only Cepheid Inc. possesses the required capabilities to meet this requirement.
* Responses to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government.
