AN/USC-28(V) Satellite Communication Sets (SCS)

The US Army Communications-Electronic Command (CECOM) is conducting a Market Survey to identify potential sources with the capability to provide maintenance support for the AN/USC-28(V) Satellite Communication Sets (SCS) and the Charon Merged Emulator. The scope of this requirement includes depot-level repair and overhaul of Line Replaceable Units (LRUs), Shop Replaceable Units (SRUs), and end-items for both Airborne and Ground-based systems, providing Field Maintenance Technician (FMT) support, and testing, inspection, and certification of equipment. • The contract will be executed under a Cost-Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract structure. • The estimated ordering period is three years with a two-year option period. • The place of contract performance will be determined at the delivery/task order level. • The contractor will be responsible for the management and execution of the entire contract. • The contractor must demonstrate their ability to successfully perform the required maintenance and repairs, potentially through reverse engineering or by possessing existing data and expertise.
