Description
The Niagara Falls Water Board is seeking a qualified professional services firm to provide lobbying and government relations services on its behalf. The selected firm will lobby the NYS Legislature, Executive Chamber, and NYS agencies to obtain funding for NFWB capital projects, particularly for wastewater treatment plant upgrades and lead and copper rule improvements. The firm will also provide strategic consultation and planning assistance, monitor legislation and regulations, and represent the NFWB's interests. The contract term will be one year, with the option to renew for up to two additional one-year terms.
• The firm will develop and implement a government relations strategy focused on obtaining funding for NFWB capital projects.
• The firm will provide lobbying services to the NYS Legislature, Executive Chamber, and NYS agencies.
• The firm will monitor legislation and regulations that may impact the NFWB and advise on how to advance its interests.
• The firm will prepare documents and briefing materials as needed.
• The firm will attend meetings with NFWB staff and members as required.
