Description
The Tattnall County Board of Commissioners is soliciting bids for a new current production Cat 150/John Deere 770 GP tandem drive motor grader. The motor grader must meet specific minimum specifications, including a 4-stroke, 6-cylinder diesel engine, 8 forward gears and up to 8 reverse gears, and a fully enclosed cab with heater, AC, and AM/FM Bluetooth radio. The bid deadline is December 16, 2025, at 10:00 AM ET. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on December 4, 2025, at 10:00 AM.
• The motor grader must have a minimum of 180 net hp in 1st gear and 215 net hp in 5th gear.
• The machine must have a rear wheel drive only, no front wheel drive required.
• The cab must be fully enclosed with heater, AC, and AM/FM Bluetooth radio.
• The motor grader must have a 14’ long X 24” high X 7/8” thick moldboard w/ overlay end bits and cutting edges.
• The vendor must provide a 5-year/7,500 hour full warranty with free travel time and mileage for warranty repairs.
