Description
The City of Winston-Salem is seeking bids for the Fairlawn Sidewalks Project Rebid, which involves constructing sidewalks and other pedestrian improvements along Fairlawn Drive. The project requires grading, drainage, paving, curb & gutter, and sidewalk construction. The estimated construction time is 150 calendar days, with liquidated damages of $600/day. A non-mandatory virtual pre-bid conference will be held to describe the scope of work and answer questions from interested bidders.
• The project is partially federally funded and subject to Davis-Bacon wages and other specific requirements.
• Bidders must be properly licensed and NCDOT prequalified at the time of bid.
• Compliance with NCDOT's DBE program is not required as of October 3, 2025.
• The city reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
