Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information from potential contractors to provide annual calibration services and routine technical support for VA-owned biomedical test equipment at the VA Long Beach Healthcare System. The contractor will be required to provide all necessary parts, materials, supplies, equipment, qualified personnel, labor, transportation, and access to calibrate the Government-owned equipment. The contract will have a base year and four option years. The contractor will also be required to provide daily technical telephone support and onsite calibrations.
Some key points to consider:
• The contractor must have experience in calibrating biomedical test equipment.
• The contractor must have access to complete service manuals and software diagnostic keys.
• The contractor must provide all hand tools, diagnostic test equipment, and other necessary items to perform the work.
• The contractor must comply with VA Handbook 0735 – HSPD-12 Program requirements.
• The contractor must provide a capability statement and an informal quote for the services.
