Design Mobility Hubs

The Regional Transit Authority (RTA) of New Orleans is seeking a qualified design‑and‑engineering firm to deliver full construction‑document sets for six urban “Mobility Hubs” that will serve bus, street‑car, and ferry passengers. The scope is divided into two task orders: Phase 1 (design) covering programming, outreach, site assessments, schematic/30 % through 100 % construction documents, traffic and energy modeling, safety analysis, and project management; Phase 2 (bid and construction administration) covering bid‑package preparation, on‑site construction oversight, testing/commissioning, and final close‑out. The effort requires expertise in transit‑oriented design, community engagement, CPTED, resilient architecture for New Orleans’ climate, traffic and energy modeling, and coordination with multiple public agencies. The contract is a three‑year term with two optional one‑year extensions, funded in part by a federal RAISE grant.
