Description
The City of Roseville is soliciting bids for one Ford F250 with a Utility Body. The truck will be used for traffic signals and will require specific customizations, including a custom utility body, LED lighting, and a Denso OBU device. The successful bidder will be required to provide a detailed proposal, including pricing and specifications for the truck and utility body. The city reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any minor informalities or irregularities in any bid.
Key features of the truck and utility body include:
• Custom 98” utility body painted Ford Oxford White and installed to mount on a Ford F250 SuperCab 56” CA
• Stainless steel T-Handle latch with lock pockets, all keyed alike
• Spring shocks on all vertical doors
• Dual chains on all horizontal doors
• Bolt in place shelving
• Stainless steel wheel trim
• Stainless steel fuel bezel
• LED rope or strip lighting in all compartments with automatic on/off wired to Ford upfitter switch
• Utility body to be undercoated with polyurea or City approved equal
The city will supply the Denso OBU unit and the inside cab, back window antenna. The successful bidder will be required to install the OBU device and connect it to the Mobile Mark antenna.
