2026 Public Works Mowing

The City of Keller is seeking a vendor to provide mowing services for various locations within the city, including drainage channels, city properties, rights-of-way, and water sites. The contractor will be responsible for mowing, trimming, and edging all areas of contract locations. The city has divided the mowing services into base and alternate specifications, with the base specifications including drainage channels, city properties, rights-of-way, and water sites, and the alternate specifications including additional locations that may be awarded in whole or in part. The contractor will be required to provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to perform the work, and will be paid on a unit price basis. Some key requirements include: • Mowing drainage channels on a monthly schedule • Mowing city properties, rights-of-way, and water sites on a bi-weekly schedule • Trimming and edging all areas of contract locations • Providing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to perform the work • Submitting a monthly mowing schedule and mowing report for review and approval • Complying with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. The city reserves the right to adjust and/or cancel scheduled mowing cycles on a week-to-week basis, based on need, prevailing weather conditions, and available funding.
