The United States Bureau of Reclamation is hosting an Industry Day to gather feedback from industry partners on the potential expansion of the existing Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for heavy equipment rental. The contract will support additional regional locations within the Bureau of Reclamation's operational footprint. The Bureau is looking for input on fleet readiness and availability, logistical capabilities, technical compatibility with government systems, and rapid response and service delivery. The Industry Day will provide an opportunity for participants to engage directly with Reclamation contracting officials and the technical lead.
Some key points to consider:
• The contract will require equipment rental and delivery to project sites.
• Equipment must be in excellent condition, less than 5 years old, and have less than 3,000 hours.
• The contractor must be able to provide onsite repair response within 6 hours and replacement within 24 hours.
• The contractor must be able to coordinate delivery of equipment from beyond 300 miles.
• The Bureau is looking for input on the potential expansion of the existing IDIQ contract.
