Description
The Ventura Unified School District is seeking bids for the Sunset School Roofing Replacement project. The project involves replacing the existing low-slope roofing with a KEE-Stone roofing system and replacing the existing shingle roofing with new dimensional shingles and R-Mer seal underlayment. The project also includes removing the existing metal roof and replacing it with a cool-sil metal restoration system. The contractor will be responsible for ensuring positive drainage and no ponding conditions. The project requires a 30-year warranty for the roofing system.
• The project includes removing the existing roofing system to the wood deck and properly disposing of all debris.
• The contractor must repair all deficiencies in the wood deck and fascia to match the existing.
• The contractor must mechanically fasten ½” Densdeck prime coverboard attached per approved wind uplift criteria.
• The contractor must install one ply Stressbase 80 set in GreenLock adhesive applied at a minimum 2.5 gal/100sf.
• The contractor must install one ply KEE-Stone HP set in KEE-Lock spatter spray foam adhesive applied per product wind uplift criteria and datasheets.
• The contractor must provide a 30-year warranty for the roofing system.
