Description
The Cedar Rapids Community School District (CRCSD) is seeking a contractor to design, install, operate, and maintain solar photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage systems (BESS) across various school district properties. The contractor will enter into a 20-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with CRCSD, providing a guaranteed minimum annual kWh production. The scope of work includes engineering, design, financing, insurance, construction, personnel, supervision, facilities, permitting, materials, equipment, transportation, and supplies. The contractor must also ensure compliance with various codes and standards, including safety and performance requirements, and provide a detailed plan for operations and maintenance.
