Description
The Commonwealth of Kentucky (KYTC) is seeking a qualified vendor to design, fabricate, integrate, test, and deliver a new Mobile Operations Command Center (MOC) trailer to replace an aging unit. The trailer must meet FEMA Type 3 or greater standards, be approximately 32‑35 ft long, 102 in wide, 13 ft 6 in high, and include a tandem‑axle gooseneck chassis, three dedicated workstations with dual monitors, a conference area with slide‑out, HVAC, generator, battery system, networking infrastructure (wired CAT6 and wireless, Starlink/FirstNet capability), interior/exterior lighting, awnings, a 55‑in smart board, multiple televisions, and full‑time power (shore, generator, inverter). The contractor must provide detailed design drawings, obtain KYTC approval before fabrication, submit progress photos, and allow KYTC inspections at key milestones (design approval, pre‑build inspection, pre‑delivery testing). Delivery is required no later than 15 June 2027. The contract will be awarded after technical and cost evaluation, with possible oral presentations.
