Description
The Town of Coventry is seeking bids for the Quidnick Improvement Project, which includes the installation of a new playground, basketball court, and associated site improvements. The project aims to modernize the facility, improve playability and durability, and continue providing quality recreational opportunities for Coventry residents. The scope of work includes installation of sedimentation and erosion controls, site preparation and demolition, earthwork, installation of accessible pedestrian walks, installation of playground equipment, and landscape restoration.
• The project is subject to the provisions of the Davis-Bacon Act and requires compliance with prevailing wage rates.
• The contractor must provide a valid up-to-date Landscape Structures, Inc. (LSI) certified installer certificate.
• The contractor must ensure that all subcontractors comply with the provisions of the Davis-Bacon Act.
• The project includes a pre-bid conference and site visit.
• The contractor must provide a proposed work schedule prior to commencement of the project.
