Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source Contract

The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics San Diego (FLCSD) intends to award a Sole Source contract for the recertification of Cranston Eagle Quick Release Offload Hooks. The contractor will be required to perform weight tests and dye penetration tests on the hooks, which are critical to the mission assets of the USS ANCHORAGE LPD-23. The work must be completed immediately to ensure the ship's operational readiness. • The contractor must provide all necessary tools, supplies, equipment, and labor for the recertification. • The contractor must be certified and trained in properly performing recertification and have the proper service manuals and tools. • The Government will deliver the Cranston Eagle Offload Hooks to the contractor's facility. • The contractor must submit a complete report of all maintenance and servicing accomplished.
