Description
Palm Beach County is seeking proposals from a qualified contractor to provide a uniform program for Fire Rescue, Animal Care & Control, and Palm Tran. The contractor will be responsible for supplying professional garments, accessories, shoes, and providing a full-time seamstress for sizing, alterations, and embroidery. The contract will be for a period of 36 months with two optional 12-month renewal periods. The proposer must have demonstrated experience in supplying such services and meet all criteria and requirements identified in the RFP. Some key points to consider include:
• Providing a storefront or service center
• Having a computerized inventory account and online ordering system
• Offering commercial non-discrimination
• Having financial and business stability
• Having experience with similar projects
• Being able to provide a full-time seamstress on staff
• Being able to supply a wide range of uniforms and accessories
• Having a plan for sizing, alterations, and embroidery
• Being able to provide excellent customer service
