Woodside Road Pump Station and Force Main Replacement Project

The Town of Winchester is seeking bids for the Woodside Road Pump Station and Force Main Replacement Project. The project includes demolition and removal of an existing wastewater ejector pump station, installation of a new wastewater submersible pump station and valve vault, and installation of approximately 670 linear feet of 4-inch HDPE DR 17 sewer force main. The project is estimated to be worth $1,475,000 and is subject to prevailing wages and sales tax exemptions. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Bond, each of which shall be in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. • The project requires bidders to visit the site and acquaint themselves with the conditions. • The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and eligible bidder. • The successful bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, national origin, or any other basis prohibited by law. • The project is subject to the availability of funding. • The Town of Winchester reserves the right to reject any bid that fails to meet the requirements of the Advertisement for Bids or is incomplete, conditional, or obscure.
