Semi-Hermetic Training Simulator

The Midlands Technical College is seeking bids for a Semi-Hermetic Training Simulator. The simulator should be able to address mechanical and electrical problems that can plague refrigeration and air-conditioning systems. The bid should include the price for the simulator, instructor guides, student work guides, and warranty. The college is also seeking information on whether the bidder is requesting the SC Resident Vendor Preference. • The simulator should be able to perform various exercises such as system pump down, system evacuation, system recovery, system charging, valve plate change, refrigerant leak detection, capacitor/relay replacement, TXV superheat adjustment, clogged/restricted drier replacement, superheat and subcooling calculations, compressor failure change out, and adjust low pressure control CI/CO. • The bidder should provide information on whether the product is made, manufactured, or grown in South Carolina or the US. • The bidder should also provide information on whether they are requesting the SC Resident Vendor Preference.
