Description

The project includes the repair, replacement, and improvement of infrastructure at the Northwest Water Treatment Facility (NWTF) and Semper Water Treatment Facility (SWTF). The primary goal of this project is to upgrade process equipment, structural elements, and supporting infrastructure to extend the operational lifespan of the City’s two water treatment facilities and support their long-term performance and reliability. • The CMAR will be responsible for providing Phase 1 Preconstruction Services, including constructability and phasing reviews, schedule and cost model development, risk identification and mitigation, and procurement planning. • The CMAR will also be responsible for performing Phase 2 Construction Services, including bidding and procurement of subcontractors, execution of construction and commissioning activities, and implementation of the project management plans developed in Phase 1. • The project is expected to last 22 months, with Phase 1 lasting 4 months and Phase 2 lasting 18 months. • The City is using the Rocky Mountain E-purchasing System (BidNet) to advertise and manage formal solicitations. • Proposals must be submitted electronically through BidNet by the deadline specified in the Schedule of Events.

Budget estimate

$10,000,000 – $50,000,000

Based on the scope of the project, which includes the repair, replacement, and improvement of infrastructure at two water treatment facilities, the estimated budget for this project could be in the range of $10 million to $50 million. This estimate is rough and based on the fact that the project involves construction management, upgrade of process equipment, and infrastructure improvement, which can be capital-intensive. The actual budget may vary depending on the specifics of the proposal and the City's budget for the project.
