Description
The National Park Service is seeking a contractor to repair a CAT 440 Backhoe. The work to be performed includes maintenance, repair, and rebuild of equipment, specifically construction/mining/excavating/highway maintenance equipment. The period of performance is from June 5, 2026, to July 15, 2026. The solicitation may be extended to allow contractors to inspect the equipment.
Some key points to consider:
• The contractor will not be compensated for any time or travel required to attend an inspection appointment.
• Attendance at an inspection appointment is not a requirement to submit a quote for this solicitation.
• The Government will make its best efforts to accommodate all appointment requests, but appointments will be provided on a first-come first-serve basis due to limited availability of staff to provide a supervised visit.
