Description
The Santa Clara Valley Water District is seeking a qualified contractor to install a District‑furnished 25 kVA standby generator and a 100 A automatic transfer switch (ATS) at the Bailey Avenue Line Valve Vault. The work includes civil site preparation, concrete pad construction, raceway and conduit installation, security fencing, integration with the District’s SCADA system for remote start and alarm notification, and full testing/commissioning. The contractor must hold appropriate California electrical licensing, comply with prevailing‑wage requirements, and provide the required performance and payment bonds.
• Install and commission the generator and ATS, including remote‑start capability and SCADA integration.
• Perform civil work such as trenching, concrete pad construction, utility locating, and security fence installation.
• Provide all necessary permits, inspections, testing, as‑built documentation, and a one‑year warranty on workmanship and materials.
