Notice of Intent to Sole Source to Schottel, Inc.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Memphis District, intends to issue a commercial services purchase order to Schottel, Inc. for repairing bow thrusters for the Dredge Hurley. The contractor shall repair the bow thrusters and deliver them to the Dredge Hurley operations in Houma, LA. The proposed action will be a Commercial Firm Fixed-Price Supply type contract. • The contractor shall repair the bow thrusters in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. • The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 336611 with a Small Business size standard in amount of 1,300 employees. • Interested firms must identify their interest and provide documentation demonstrating their capability by e-mailing Contract Specialist, Kyrrith Jones. • The Government reserves the right not to compete the proposed purchase order based on responses received to this notice.
