Description
The City of Salina seeks a qualified engineering consultant to evaluate, design, and support the replacement of three deteriorating culverts on Fairdale Road. The scope includes hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, design of construction‑ready plans and specifications, assistance with bid‑phase activities, and construction‑phase coordination such as easement acquisition and utility relocations. The consultant will also evaluate potential modifications to an upstream retaining wall and must consider downstream impacts from a recently installed box culvert.
• Perform updated H‑H modeling (2008 study cited, runoff 86‑143 cfs for a 25‑yr storm).
• Produce design drawings, specifications, and legal easement documents.
• Provide bid‑phase support and construction‑phase services, including coordination of utilities and easement acquisition.
