INDEFINITE DELIVERY/INDEFINITE QUANTITY (IDIQ) PREVENTIVE AND REMEDIAL MAINTENANCE SERVICES FOR CHILLERS

The Smithsonian Institution is seeking proposals for indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) preventive and remedial maintenance services for chillers. The contract will have a base period of 12 months and four option years. The contractor will be required to perform routine preventive maintenance services on an annual basis for all chillers, including inspections, testing, and repair services. The contractor will also be required to provide remedial maintenance services as needed. The services will be performed at various Smithsonian facilities in Washington, DC, Maryland, Virginia, and New York. Key aspects of the job include: • Performing routine preventive maintenance services on chillers • Providing remedial maintenance services as needed • Ensuring all work is done in accordance with the contract documents and industry standards • Coordinating with the Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR) for acceptance of work and payment • Providing a written itemized quote for any additional parts or materials needed • Ensuring all time is accounted for and validated by checking in and out with the COTR prior to and at the completion of work
