Handling Carts 40,000 LB capacity

The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has a requirement for two Handling Carts with a 40,000 LB capacity. The proposed contract action is for the supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, THE HAMILTON CASTER & MFG COMPANY, under the authority of FAR 12. The contract is being sole-sourced because the vendor holds all proprietary data and specifications of the equipment being purchased. • The contract requires the delivery of two Handling Carts with a 40,000 LB capacity. • The carts must have a deck size of 124" wide x 260" long, a deck material of steel sheet welded on a channel frame, and a steering type of 24" fifth-wheel. • The contract also includes shipping and handling requirements, as well as inspection and acceptance procedures. • The contractor must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
