Firewood

The County of Clay is seeking a vendor to provide firewood for its Parks, Recreation, and Historic Sites. The firewood should be split, seasoned hardwood, approximately 18 inches in length, and free of pests and foreign materials. The vendor should be able to deliver the firewood within 48 hours of receipt of order and provide a sample bundle at no cost to the County. The agreement period is for one year with four possible one-year renewals. • The vendor should have at least one year of experience in providing similar services. • The vendor should provide firm, fixed pricing for the firewood and any other applicable costs. • The vendor should provide information about their experience, expertise, and personnel qualifications. • The vendor should be able to deliver the firewood to four locations at Smithville Lake. • The vendor should be able to unload the firewood with their own equipment onto pallets provided by the vendor.
