Thyroid Uptake System

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information for a thyroid uptake system for use by the Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VAMC in Philadelphia, PA. The system should include a shielded detector with a flat-field collimator and a multi-channel analyzer, use sodium iodine (NaI) detector, and have a Cap-DICOM interface. The system should also be able to handle both liquid and capsule forms of radiopharmaceuticals and come with a neck phantom for thyroid uptake system. The contractor would be required to provide training for technologists and radiologists. • The system must have a one-inch well. • The system must have an isotope library. • The system must have a counterbalanced, articulating arm for easy detector positioning. • The system must have wheels for easy mobility. • The contractor must provide training for technologists and radiologists. • The contractor must provide a standard warranty.
