Supply and installation of swimming pool covers and rolling stations for U.S. Embassy Harare, Zimbabwe

The United States Embassy Harare is seeking a contractor to supply and install swimming pool covers and rolling stations at 44 U.S. Mission residential properties in Harare. The contractor will be responsible for measuring the swimming pools, procuring the necessary materials, and installing the pool covers and reels. The contract will be awarded to the top 2 lowest priced, technically acceptable, responsible offerors. • The contractor must provide all necessary installation supplies and equipment to perform the work. • The contractor must comply with all local laws, codes, ordinances, and regulations required to perform the work. • The contractor must provide evidence of insurance within 10 days after contract award. • The contractor must ensure that its employees use good safety practices and comply with all local safety regulations. • The contractor must provide a quote to accomplish the tasks outlined in the scope of work. • The contractor must conduct an initial inspection to obtain an overview of the project and document the existing job conditions. • The contractor must ensure that its employees do not damage the swimming pool structure, pool fence, and any other equipment/property within the swimming pool area during work.
