The California Department of Parks and Recreation is soliciting qualified general‑engineering contractors to repair the Century Dam at Malibu Creek State Park. The scope includes replacement of a 12‑in. knife‑gate valve, sediment dredging, demolition of existing debris structures, installation of new ESA plastic fencing, and associated civil‑structural work such as steel shroud fabrication, site preparation, and environmental compliance measures. The contract is a lump‑sum award with a mandatory DVBE participation floor of 6 % and a possible incentive for higher DVBE involvement. The contractor must hold a Class A General Engineering license, demonstrate prior dam‑related public‑works experience (> $300 k), and be capable of completing the work within 200 calendar days after notice to proceed.
