On-Call Building Renovations

The City of Winchester is seeking proposals from qualified general contractors for an on-call contract to complete various building renovations in existing City-owned properties and facilities. The contractor will be responsible for providing all supervision, labor, tools, materials, supplies, parts, equipment, transportation, record documentation, and other associated work and responsibilities necessary to perform general contracting services. The scope of services includes renovations, improvements, space reconfigurations, general maintenance, plumbing, electrical work, mechanical work, and other related tasks. The contract term will be five years from the date of award, with the option to renew for two 12-month periods. • The contractor must have experience in similar projects and provide documentation of their firm's experience. • The contractor must guarantee all work will be performed in accordance with the scope of services and to the satisfaction of the City. • The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations. • The contractor must provide performance and payment bonds when the cost of a specific project exceeds $100,000. • The contractor must warranty all work for one year following completion and acceptance by the City.
