Design–Build: Pre-Engineered Metal Building (Turnkey) for Police Storage

The City of Clermont is seeking a turnkey Design-Build contractor to design, engineer, permit, furnish, deliver, and erect a pre-engineered metal building for a police storage facility. The project includes site preparation, concrete foundation, and installation of doors, windows, and insulation. The contractor must provide sealed engineered drawings and calculations, and ensure that the building meets all applicable codes and design loads. The project must be completed within 75 calendar days from the issuance of the purchase order and/or notice to proceed. • The building must be a pre-engineered metal building with a minimum size of 30'-0" x 80'-0" nominal. • The contractor must provide a wind-load certification meeting the design criteria and requirements. • The contractor must ensure that all work is done in a safe and careful manner, and that the building is free from defects and meets the quality, function, and characteristics of the materials and workmanship. • The contractor must provide a warranty for at least one year from the date of final acceptance of the work. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, ordinances, regulations, and building code requirements. • The contractor must provide proof of insurance and bonding capacity as required by the City. • The contractor must ensure that all subcontractors and suppliers are paid in full and that all liens are released before final payment is made.
