Pre-Engineered Building Assembly

The Blackstone Valley Vocational Regional School District is soliciting quotes for the Pre-Engineered Building Assembly project. The project consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and incidental services required to install and erect a District-owned pre-engineered steel building on a recently completed foundation. The work includes complete building assembly in accordance with the manufacturer's drawings and specifications, installation of all base plates, roof gutters and snow guards, one overhead garage door, one 3-foot steel personnel door, and all related components necessary for a complete and functional structure. • The project requires experience erecting pre-engineered steel buildings, with experience with Olympia Steel Buildings preferred. • The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and eligible bidder. • The bidder must provide a quote that includes all documents required by the Request for Quote. • The project is subject to the Safety and Health regulations of the U.S. Department of Labor. • The bidder must comply with all federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations that may apply to the work. • The bidder must provide a copy of their insurance policy, including all endorsements that list the Blackstone Valley Vocational Regional School District as an additional insured. • The bidder must maintain all insurance coverage required under the agreement at their sole expense. • The bidder must provide a certified, treasurer's, or cashier's check from a responsible bank or trust company payable to the awarding authority, or a bid bond from a surety company, payable to the awarding authority. • The bidder must sign the quote in the manner prescribed by the Request for Quote. • The bidder must provide three references that are satisfactory to the Blackstone Valley Vocational Regional School District. • The bidder must provide proof of the Mass. CSL designation with their quote submission. • The bidder must provide new and unopened materials and equipment purchased directly from the original manufacturers. • The bidder must comply with all requirements of the Request for Quote and the contract documents.
