Star Ave Water Main Replacement

The City of Aurora is seeking a qualified contractor to perform water main replacement on Star Ave, from Constellation Dr to Reckinger Rd. The project involves replacing approximately 720LF of water main, transferring existing copper services, and replacing lead services. The contractor will be required to provide a bid bond, performance bond, and payment bond, as well as proof of insurance and IDOT prequalification. The bid will be awarded to the lowest responsive responsible bidder. Key aspects of the project include: water main replacement, service transfers, and lead replacement; traffic control and protection; inlet protection; dewatering; and seeding and landscaping.
