UST Removal and Generator Replacements at Waterbury Army National Guard

The Connecticut Army National Guard Armory in Waterbury, CT is currently served by a diesel-fueled 250kW / 313kVA Cummins Stand-by Generator. The project scope is to remove the existing stand-by diesel generator and replace it with a new one. The project also involves the removal of an underground storage tank (UST) and a day tank. The contractor will be responsible for the removal and replacement of the generator and tanks, as well as any necessary electrical and plumbing work. • The project requires the removal of a 1000 gallon fuel tank designed to supply diesel fuel to a 250 kW / 313 kVA generator. • The project requires the replacement of the existing generator with a new one. • The project requires the removal of a day tank, which is an above-ground fuel tank inside the walk-in enclosure connected to the main 1000 gallon underground storage tank (UST). • The project requires any necessary electrical and plumbing work to complete the removal and replacement of the generator and tanks.
