RFP 2026-04 Town Hall Roof Replacement

The Town of Surfside is seeking a qualified firm to provide design-build services for the Town Hall Roof Replacement Project. The project involves removing and replacing the existing roofing system and installing a new, fully operational roofing system. The selected firm will be responsible for pre-construction services, field verification of existing conditions, system design and engineering, material and system selection, permitting, demolition, installation, coordination with existing rooftop systems, inspections, testing, final walkthrough, training of Town staff, and provision of warranties and closeout documentation. The roofing system must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local codes and regulations, including the Florida Building Code and High Velocity Hurricane Zone (HVHZ) requirements. • The project includes the removal and replacement of the existing roofing system, including roofing membranes, insulation, lightweight concrete or other fill materials, flashings, drainage components, and accessories. • The selected firm must provide a complete, integrated roofing system designed to provide a watertight building envelope, improve durability and energy performance, and ensure long-term reliability and maintainability. • The Town reserves the right to accept and award any or all of the services to one or more firms on a non-exclusive basis, and to consider alternative system approaches.
