Description
The County of Imperial seeks a qualified engineering firm to provide full‑service design engineering for sidewalk improvements in Niland, CA. The scope includes existing conditions documentation, utility coordination, environmental and geotechnical investigations, creation of plans, specifications, cost estimates, permit acquisition, and delivery of final as‑built drawings. The consultant must be a California‑licensed civil engineer, be registered with the DIR, and supply required insurance. Proposals are submitted electronically via PlanetBids by the extended deadline of August 3, 2026.
• Deliver comprehensive PS&E packages (30 %, 75 %, 95 % and 100 % submittals).
• Conduct Phase I ESA, geotechnical/soil testing, ADL investigations, and prepare a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan if needed.
• Coordinate utilities, obtain temporary traffic control permits, and manage right‑of‑way/ easement issues.
• Provide all deliverables in hard copy and electronic format, retain records with the County, and comply with Caltrans, CMAQ, and state specifications.
