22nd Street South Corridor Litter Collection and Sweeping Services Initiative

The City of St. Petersburg is seeking a qualified vendor to provide litter collection, trash removal, and corridor sweeping services along the 22nd Street South corridor. The selected vendor shall maintain the corridor in a clean, safe, and presentable condition through the routine collection and proper disposal of litter, debris, and other waste materials. The vendor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, vehicles, transportation, supplies, and disposal services necessary to perform the required work. Key aspects of the job include: • Collecting and removing litter, trash, and debris from the corridor • Sweeping and cleaning sidewalks, curb lines, medians, and other accessible public areas • Properly disposing of all collected materials in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations • Maintaining the corridor in a clean and presentable condition throughout the term of the agreement The City prefers that services be performed twice weekly, on Mondays and Thursdays, but vendors may propose alternative service schedules. The contract will commence on July 1, 2026, and expire on October 31, 2026.
