Description
The Research Triangle Regional Public Transportation Authority dba GoTriangle (GoTriangle) is seeking bids from qualified firms for bus stop improvements in Durham County, North Carolina. The scope of work includes site amenity and improvements to bus stops, such as clearing, grading, concrete pads and sidewalks, installing amenities, traffic control, and other related items. The awarded contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, tools, equipment, machinery, and materials necessary to complete the work in full compliance with the contract terms.
• The project requires the contractor to perform earthwork, including excavation, placement, and compaction of materials, as well as the construction of embankments and backfills.
• The contractor must also install amenities, such as shelters, benches, and bike racks, and provide traffic control and other related services.
• The project has a deadline for bid submission and a projected completion date of 90 days after notice to proceed.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards, including those related to environmental protection, safety, and labor.
• The contractor must also provide proof of insurance and comply with the requirements of the E-Verify program.
• The project requires the contractor to have experience in construction services, particularly in bus stop improvements, and to have the necessary resources and personnel to complete the work in a timely and satisfactory manner.
