6515--Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) _ Ultrasonic Cardiac

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking vendors to provide Philips Healthcare EPIQ CVx brand name or equal cardiac ultrasound systems and accessories on an Enterprise-wide basis. The vendor must also provide training and services. The VA intends to award a Requirements Contract with Firm-Fixed Price orders to a vendor capable of providing cardiac ultrasound systems and accessories, training, and services. The contract will have a 12-month base period with four 12-month option periods. Some key features required in the cardiac ultrasound system include: * OLED live display with a minimum diagonal screen size of 21” * Real-time 3D Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) capabilities and applicable TEE probes * Tissue harmonic imaging (THI) * 4D cardiac imaging * Hard drive image storage capacity of at least 1 TB * FDA approval for diagnostic cardiac procedures * Speckle noise reduction The vendor must demonstrate the ability to meet all requirements for the solicitation, including providing technical literature that clearly shows the product meets the identified salient characteristics.
