Sage Crest Elevator Structural Repair Project

The Palm Desert Housing Authority is seeking bids for the Sage Crest Elevator Structural Repair Project. The project involves installing temporary shoring, removing existing stucco, inspecting framing elements, constructing support columns, and installing Simpson girder connectors. The project requires a licensed contractor with a Class B, General Building classification. The bid submission deadline is June 27, 2026, at 2:00pm. • The project consists of installing temporary shoring to relieve excessive loads prior to beam installation. • The existing stucco beneath the second-floor walkway will be removed to allow for inspection of the existing structural members and installation of missing columns. • Two missing 24” square by 12” thick support columns footings will be constructed. • Two missing 6x6 support columns will be installed, along with Simpson girder connectors per Column to Beam Connection. • The Column façade and second-floor walkway stucco will be installed per the Street Elevation.
