Description
The Genesee Intermediate School District is seeking bids for the Summerfield Community School site renovations. The project involves a single lump sum proposal for the complete work. Bidders are required to submit an original and two copies of their bid, accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship with the Owner or any member of the School Board. The bid must also include a certified check, cashier's check, or a satisfactory Surety Bid Bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price as guaranty.
• The project requires prevailing wage annual certifications/registrations through the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Growth (LEO) for the prime contractor and all sub-contractors.
• Bidders are encouraged to attend a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting on July 23, 2026.
