Description
The Guilford Technical Community College is seeking bids for the construction of a truck driving track on a cleared site at their Greensboro campus. The project includes the construction of a track pad and access road, exterior lighting, utility water, stormwater, access drives, and parking. The project is partially funded by a federal grant from the Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration in the amount of $1,741,378. The anticipated construction start is scheduled for March 2026.
• The project requires specially constructed pads to accommodate the weight of semi-trailer trucks.
• The track will include exterior lighting, utility water, stormwater, access drives, and parking as needed to support the drive track.
• A pre-bid meeting will be held on November 20, 2025, to address project-specific questions and bidding procedures.
• Sealed bids will be opened and read aloud on December 11, 2025, at 3 p.m. EST.
• The HUB participation goal for this project is a minimum of 10%.
