Professional Services for Crete Reconnecting Communities Pilot (RCP) Grant – Crete Pedestrian Bridge Project

The Nebraska Department of Transportation is seeking a consultant to provide professional services for the Crete Reconnecting Communities Pilot (RCP) Grant – Crete Pedestrian Bridge Project. The project aims to reconnect disadvantaged neighborhoods, support the community's diverse workforce and cultures, and improve access to city amenities by constructing an ADA-compliant pedestrian crossing. The scope of work includes community engagement, planning/feasibility study, and preliminary engineering/design. The consultant will be required to follow the LPA Guidelines Manual for Federal-Aid Projects and all applicable Federal and State requirements and procedures for the local federal-aid projects. • The consultant will be responsible for providing a statement of qualifications, which will be evaluated based on factors such as qualifications, performance data, and understanding of the services to be provided. • The consultant will be required to have experience in planning and feasibility studies, bridge design, and public involvement. • The consultant will be required to use specific software, including Microsoft Office products, eBuilder project management cloud-based software, AutoCAD, and ArcGIS. • The payment method for the contract may be Lump Sum, Cost Plus Fixed Fee, or Specific Rates of Compensation.
