Purchase and Development of Land Surrounding Farrington Field

The Fort Worth Independent School District is seeking proposals for the purchase and development of land surrounding Farrington Field. The selected respondent will be expected to develop the land as a mixed-use, sports-anchored development, with a minimum investment of $250 million. The project is expected to be completed by December 31, 2031. The district is looking for a respondent with experience in developing similar projects and a strong understanding of the local market. • The project includes the development of seven tracts of land, with a total area of approximately 1,800 acres. • The respondent will be required to submit a proposed development plan, including a description of the project, timelines, and budget. • The district will evaluate proposals based on experience and qualifications, project approach and development plan, and purchase price. • The selected respondent will be required to enter into a purchase and sale agreement with the district, which will include a right of reversion for undeveloped portions of the land. • The project is subject to the Texas Tax Code and the Texas Local Government Code.
