Description
The State of New Jersey is seeking a vendor to provide food storage and delivery services for the Emergency Food Assistance Program. The program aims to distribute USDA foods to eligible recipients. The vendor will be responsible for storing and delivering the food products, as well as providing related services such as warehousing, transportation, and inventory management. The contract will be for a period of 36 months, with the option for extension. The vendor must demonstrate experience in food storage and delivery, as well as compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• The vendor must have a warehouse facility that meets the requirements of the program, including adequate storage space, security, and equipment.
• The vendor must have a fleet of vehicles that meet the requirements of the program, including refrigerated trucks and experienced drivers.
• The vendor must be able to provide proof of insurance, including liability and cargo insurance.
• The vendor must be able to comply with all relevant laws and regulations, including those related to food safety and handling.
