AC-9 Life Raft Maintenance and Servicing

The US Air Force is seeking potential sources capable of providing AC-9 Life Raft Maintenance and Servicing at Moody Air Force Base in Georgia. The work will entail opening the life raft, removing the reservoir, valve assembly, and survival kit, inspecting and replacing expired components, and reassembling and packing the life raft. The contractor must have the necessary certifications, including an active FAA Part 145 Repair Station Certificate, and employ technicians who are formally trained and certified by the OEM. • The contractor must have experience with aviation life rafts of similar complexity. • The contractor must be capable of managing secure, hazmat-compliant shipping. • The contractor must have an established purchasing agreement or distributor relationship with Safran Aerosystems. • The contractor must be able to provide authentic replacement parts.
